Rap superstat Kanye West shockingly (or maybe not so shockingly) interrupted Taylor Swift’s 2009 VMA acceptance speech to start talking about Beyonce. Whoa, Kanye!
What is this man thinking?
Obama started saying some rude things at the VMAs too, listen to this clip: http://bit.ly/3epvGZ

craziest submission ever!
This is our 52nd episode, which means we’ve been doing this for a year. We can’t believe it either….PSYCHE! We knew we’d be here, though you might have doubted us.
John celebrated by cutitng his long hair off. Locks of Love wouldn’t take his hair, so he donated it to PETA who will give his hair to animals that lose their hair during lab testing. Can you imagine a chimp wearing John’s hair as a cape?
And since it’s our one-year anniversary, in a tribute to rebirth and all things spiritual, Mike decided to drink baby formula mixed with wine from a box. Here’s the video… if you’re reading this from iTunes, please visit SomethingPlanet.com and find Episode 52 to view the video.

Stuey B and John J got into a fight before the show this week, and Endless Mike turned into a human mood ring, almost crying over their shouting match.
We revisited Shadow People and we all had trouble sleeping later on (no joke).
We also had some really good questions sent in this week, so take a listen.

We had a special guest on mysteriousnesses this week! Jeff Belanger called into the show to talk about his new book “Who’s Haunting the White House” available at all bookstores today!
We saw Tres Bien’s last show in Florida and it rocked! John J yelled at a bunch of people too, it was funny. Well, not at the time, but when you look back at these things, it is.
Also, the Corporate Report is back with Corporate Jerod and he’s pissed off!

Jayson from Stockton was kind enough to notice Stuey B was black, and emulated an Obama promo piece for us. Thanks, Jayson! Something Planet ’08!!!!!!
Update: Jayson did another for us!
When first informed of the proposed bailout-rescue plan, I(stueyb)immediately had my suspicions about the necessity of such a bold and expensive move.Streams of propaganda(via the news networks)and an unusually convincing televised address from our oft-maligned Commander-in-chief had me leaning toward a reluctant support for said bail-out;but all along I still felt that there was some information that wasnt being divulged.A feeling that there had to be a better solution. One that wouldnt involve the taxpayers shouldering 700 billion(more like a trillion)while the fat cats on Wall Street remain afloat on mountains of credit. Here are some compelling arguments AGAINST the bailout.
Arguments that only reinforce the instinctive doubts I think the majority of American citizens have felt since this plan was presented to the public.
